Bluebell Collection

These beautiful, delicate flowers are at home in ancient woodlands all over Scotland and have long been associated with fairies in folklore. A hardy flower, bluebells have been growing in gardens in Orkney for generations. Sheila took the inspiration for this collection from bunches of bluebells that grow under the trees in her garden.

About the Brand

Sheila Fleet Jewellery is based in Orkney and is considered Orkney’s biggest and best-known export. Handmade by the companies 55 employees, the jewellery is made from finely ground granules of glass, which are meticulously applied to silver with a quill before being fired in a kiln at around 800 degrees centigrade for up to 5 or 6 minutes depending on the size of the piece and how much enamel is used. Then careful polishing and finishing are crucial to achieving the perfect final look you expect of these amazing products.
